-shurgs- They’re teenagers, I guess it’s in their genes. -laughs- And I know where you are coming from completely. I usually have to take a break between grading essays, it’s just awful. But you’re very good with the students, so I can see why they do better in your class than in mine!
At least I have my Honors Shakespeare class… -smirks-
Well, English is considerably more complicated than math, I mean—it’s like all… analysis and understanding and stuff. Ya know? I mean… I can’t get most of that stuff. Whereas Math is just numbers and formulas, it’s pretty simple once you figure out how numbers work and all that.
Why? What’s so great about your Honors Shakespeare class? Lots of smart kids?
Well, it is required reading by the state… I didn’t make it too difficult for them, and I can tell who read the books and who didn’t, hm?
I’m glad you’re well. Solving all those “nasty” equations as usual? -grins-
Well, it’s probably pretty obvious, huh? I don’t know why the kids try to pull anything over on you, Mya. You’re too clever for that kind of thing. [laughs] Oh yes, me and those equations have been at it all day! No, but I have been grading tests which is not as glamorous as it sounds because it’s starting to give me a very nasty headache.
How’s your day been, Marvin? ‘M just checking up on the summer reading assignments…
Ah! The lovely Miss Temple makes an appearance! It’s been good… wait, you’re already assigning homework for the summer? Can’t you give the kids a break, Mya. It’s summer.
